Denim’s Social Construction: William Toney at Kisok Gallery
A Much Quieter First Friday for September
September First Friday was quieter than it has been in years. With no permits issued to food trucks, musicians or other vendors, the streets of Kansas City’s Crossroads Arts District were quieter and much easier to maneuver.
Those who chose to come were rewarded with great art at a variety of galleries, including KCAI Crossroads Gallery, Vulpes Bastille and Weinberger Fine Art. Artists, gallerists and all visitors mingled and talked about the work. It proved to be a great experience for all, relaxing, informative and non-transactional.
